If you are looking for a Restuarant quality (or better) recipe than look no further than this one.
Tomato Sauce - 1 small onion, 1 1/2 tablespoons oil, 375g jar tomato paste, 4 cups water, salt, pepper.
Finely chop onion, saute in heated oil until soft, add remaining ingredients, stir well to combine. Put aside.
Meatballs - 1 medium onion, 500g mince, 2 eggs. 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs, 1 1/2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, salt, pepper, oil for frying.
Finely chop onion, combine with remaining ingredients, mix well. Shape mixture into balls about size of an egg. Fry in hot oil until browned. Remove from pan and drain well. Put sauce back on stove and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Put meatballs into sauce, bring back to boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 1 - 2 hours until sauce is thickened. Serve with fettucini.
