Finger Foods

I am not a mother but I've watched my sister and her toddler at meal times. My niece is at the age where she wants to try to do everything herself from putting on her shoes to eating food all by herself. She has not yet mastered using utensils to feed herself so my sister grabbed a few books from the library on toddlers and their eating habits. Not only did it say they should have plenty of meal times during the day but they said that toddlers enjoy experimenting and getting used to eating foods by eating finger foods. My sister now cooks various foods from chips, sandwiches to savoury biscuits and dip. My sister and I both agreed it was a good choice to try finger foods and now meal times have become easier and fun for the both of them...it's sooo cute!!
