If you remember back to mid June, I mentioned I was feeling sick and couldn't get the newsletter out, well I didn't know how sick I was really was. I found I couldn't stop drinking fluids, up to 7 litres a day and still feeling thirsty. Then bad headaches for about 4 days and finally blurred vision to the point I couldn't focus on the monitor.

Being stubborn I hadn't gone to the doctor until the vision problem as I thought it was just side effects from giving up cigarettes 2 weeks before hand.

Now some of you have guessed already what was wrong. DIABETES, and with a high reading of 28.8 and extremely high
blood pressure to match, I was not well at all. My vision had gotten worse and also numbness in the toes. To top it off, I cracked my front tooth and had exposed the nerve which I had to live with for 2 days until I could get an appointment to the dentist

I just started getting on top of the Diabetes and bringing down the high readings when I received a phone call from my eldest brother in WA.

My mother had a heart attack and the doctors informed him she may have only 24 hrs to live. So my wife (Sue), my daughter and myself were off to the hospital and spent as much time as we could with her.

She improved over the next week or so then had another relapse and again we were told to expect the worse. This improving and deteriorating went on for nearly a month putting us all on an emotional rollercoaster.

On my 40th birthday, we got the news that a bed had cleared the rehabilitation centre and she was moved there to help her build up her strength to help to get out of hospital at last.

Sadly, this was not to be the case….. she lost her battle a mere six hours after the move to rehab, and my mother passed away on my 40th birthday.

As you can all imagine, this has been an extremely dreadful time for us and unfortunately Easycash had to suffer. I thought some of the background work on Easycash was being taken care of, but found that in this tough time someone had in fact let me down.

I am working on getting Easycash back up again as soon as possible. I will post more information in the News From Easycash forum and return to sending out a newsletter regularly soon.

If you have sent an email to us over the last 6 - 8 weeks, I have just started working thru the back log and will follow up on valid requests and queries as soon as possible.

If there are any members that have any time spare, and are wanting to help us to get Easycash back on track, please send me an email to:
support@easycash.com.au

I want to take this opportunity to thank my true friends and members who supported us over this tough period.

Deepest sympathy to you and your family. Crying or Very sad

I hope your diabetes is more managable now.

This is bizzare.... I just asked my partner today (about an hour ago) if he had a clue as to why my toes would feel numb??? And then I read this... perhaps I should go to the doctors ??? You have me thinking, can you hear it?? I am assuming this is a side effect of diabetes, the numb toes thing? OMG Shocked
