Who doesn't LOVE money.lol

His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh, officially
opened the Royal Australian Mint, Canberra, on
Monday 22nd February 1965.

The Mint was commissioned to produce Australia’s
decimal coinage, which was to be introduced into
circulation on 14th February 1966.

The Royal Australian Mint holds a place in history as
the first mint in Australia not to be a branch of the
Royal Mint, London.

Since opening in 1965 the Mint has produced over
eleven billion circulating coins and has the capacity
to produce over two million coins per day, or over
six hundred million coins per year.

At the searanch Koala Beach it is home for koala's. At the estate, buyer's of properties must agree and obey that they must not own or take any dogs or cats there, to protect the koala's. Owners of properties must have koala friendly fences. There are Glossy Black Cockatoos and Blossom Bats.........

Size: 70 - 90cm (27 - 36 inch)
Weight: 4 - 9kg (9 - 20 lb)
The males are larger than females.
Southern koalas are 30% larger than the Northern koalas

Koala's fur is thick soft and pleasant to touch. Ears have long white hairs on the tips.

Koalas can live as long as 17 years, however males life expectancy is less than 10 years (due to injuries during fights, dogs and cars). Females generally live longer. Koalas living in an undisturbed habitat would have a greater life expectancy than those living in suburbia.

Koalas prefer to move around just after sunset spending daytimes asleep in the fork of a tree. Koala spends sleeping 75% of its time. Just after sunset koalas move around and can often be heard "barking" aggressively at other koalas.

Post subject : Cable Beach Broome

Broome owes its existence to the 'Pinctada Maxima'
- the world's largest pearl oyster shell - discovered
in Roebuck Bay in 1861.
The giant pinctada shells caused a sensation overseas
and soon a melting pot of nationalities flocked to the
shores of Broome in the hope of making their fortune.
Japanese, Malays and Koepangers joined the Aboriginal
pearl divers, whilst the Chinese became the shopkeepers
in town.
